Shea butter 1kg
Shea butter comes from the fruits of the Shea tree, which grows only in the savannahs of West Africa. Shea fruit, and therefore butter, varies from region to region and from country to country. Butter from the Korhogo region (a town in northern Côte d'Ivoire) is renowned for its exceptional quality and particularly soft texture.
At Tcheri's Market, our shea butter from Lataha (Korhogo village) is produced using traditional techniques (cold pressing and manual churning) so that it retains all its natural properties. As our shea fruits are harvested at maturity, the smell of the butter is balanced or even light, depending on the production season. But as a general rule, it is neither too strong nor non-existent.
